Half-Sweet Green Plum

Shi An and Zhou Jingchen grew up together as childhood sweethearts, and their marriage made the two families feel like one. After the wedding, Shi An—a top-tier actress—is hit by an endorsement scandal and online abuse that leaves her a has-been, while Zhou Jingchen is far away in the United States. Unable to bear the long separation, she chooses divorce. In the second year after the divorce, Shi An, trying to make a living, joins a downmarket dating reality show with a provocative format and runs into Zhou Jingchen on set. The two pretend not to know each other in public while bickering in private. When Shi An and her idol come under online attack again, Zhou Jingchen is the first to step forward and protect her. It turns out his feelings for her never changed; after the show ends, the two clear up their misunderstandings and remarry.
