MyDrama review: What to watch and how it compares

MyDrama is worth browsing if you enjoy romance tangled up with money, hidden identities and danger. Its lineup includes a sapphic mafia romance, an office bargain and a sports romance built around a secret bet. Pick the premise that interests you, then use the free opening to judge the performances and pacing for yourself.

Device support and subscriptions may help narrow your choice between MyDrama, ReelShort and DramaBox. MyDrama lists an Apple TV app, while ReelShort lists iPad support. On MyDrama, Full Access lets you watch without spending coins; other subscriptions supply coins each day, and episodes still need unlocking.

What can you watch on MyDrama?

MyDrama streams short dramas through its app and website. Its US App Store listing names Holy Water Limited as the developer.

In our October 19 check of the first 12 titles on its English New Release shelf, nine carried thriller or mystery tags and 11 title pages named performers. That makes this particular shelf a useful starting point for readers who want suspense alongside romance or like following actors. It is a dated sample, not a breakdown of the full catalog; cast credits do not establish whether a production used AI effects or dubbing.

Our 48-title shelf comparison also covers ReelShort, NetShort and Vigloo. The three story picks below are based on MyDrama’s official synopses. We haven’t tested a paid subscription or watched these series in full.

Spark Me Tenderly official MyDrama poster

Spark Me Tenderly

Floris turns to the wealthy Mr. Brighton to save her mother. He proposes a deal, and she has little room to bargain.

Consider this office romance if you want an unequal power relationship driving the story. MyDrama also tags it as a toxic relationship, which may rule it out if you want a gentler romance.

Mrs. Blaire official MyDrama poster

Mrs. Blaire

For a sapphic romance, Mrs. Blaire pairs Christine, who is hiding her wealthy background, with Leona, a jewelry executive who also runs a mafia clan. Christine wants independence; Leona is used to being in charge.

The attraction comes with secrecy and a struggle for control. This premise is a closer fit for readers seeking a dangerous relationship than a low-conflict love story.

Thin Ice official MyDrama poster showing the skating couple

Thin Ice

An injured figure skater and a suspended hockey player make a deal to salvage their careers in Thin Ice. Emma needs a way back onto the ice; James has a secret bet that threatens their arrangement.

Choose this premise if you want a sports setting with career pressure and betrayal in the romance.

For werewolf romance, The Alpha's Cursed Luna starts with Aria becoming pregnant with an Alpha werewolf's child after an accidental insemination. Pregnancy is central to its premise.

What App Store reviewers liked and questioned

We read ten displayed comments each from the US iPhone review pages for MyDrama, ReelShort and DramaBox, captured October 30, 2026. Story preferences, finding and playing a show, and access expectations were useful themes for comparing these comments.

Story preferences differed even within a platform. One MyDrama commenter valued its sapphic romances and variety; another praised the acting but disliked what they perceived as AI content. Two DramaBox comments pulled in opposite directions: one liked the perceived AI realism, while another wanted more live actors. A ReelShort commenter praised a particular series’ performances; another still recommended paying despite reservations about the acting. These comments describe viewers’ impressions; they don’t confirm how the series were made. Try the opening of the actual series you want before treating an app’s overall rating as a guide to its performances.

Finding the right show was another concern. One MyDrama commenter liked browsing but wanted clearer descriptions. A DramaBox comment reported an ad link opening the wrong show, and others described playback interruptions. These reports make the title page and opening scene worth checking before committing to a series. They do not establish how often either problem occurs or whether it persists in the current app.

Access expectations could spoil an otherwise positive opinion. Two MyDrama comments expected more viewing access from a membership; another described paying as worthwhile, and two others reported helpful support after billing or coin problems. Three ReelShort comments raised cost or unlock objections. DramaBox included both praise for a paid week and frustration with rewards or playback. Enjoying the stories and disliking the way access works appeared together, so a complaint about payment is not necessarily a rejection of the content.

For MyDrama, check the Full Access versus daily coins distinction. Today’s help page cannot identify the historical plans those reviewers bought, and the support examples do not guarantee a refund or response time.

The 30 anonymized comment summaries include every distinct comment on the captured pages, with repeated expanded copies removed. Comments can cover more than one theme. This small sample cannot rank satisfaction: the ordering was unknown, some dates omitted the year, and individual star ratings were unreadable. We did not verify purchases or reproduce the reported problems.

MyDrama, ReelShort or DramaBox?

Start with the exact series you want. Similar titles, covers and premises can belong to different productions. The following differences help when you have more than one story or platform in mind.

Subscription optionsFull Access; daily coinsSeven-day series accessMembership; Special offer

The US App Store listings for MyDrama, ReelShort and DramaBox supplied the device and language details on October 30, 2026. The table shows their main Apple apps, not every compatibility entry; we have not tested playback on these devices. Interface languages are separate from the audio and subtitles available for a particular series.

Subscription names need a closer look. MyDrama’s help pages distinguish Full Access from daily coins and say web and app subscriptions work independently. ReelShort describes access to its mini-series during a seven-day subscription, with weekly renewal. DramaBox lists automatically renewing Membership and Special offer purchases, but those labels leave the access period and included content unclear. Check the offer before treating these as equivalent plans.

If iPad viewing matters, ReelShort explicitly lists it. MyDrama’s Apple TV listing gives television viewers another option to check. For a phone viewer whose device is supported, the story and its actual viewing terms will be more useful deciding factors than the language count alone. Our DramaBox and ReelShort guide explains the device and language distinction in more detail.

The samples above do not support a winner for acting, reliability or value across whole catalogs. For your chosen story, compare a coin purchase with an access plan only after matching the title, viewing channel and period.

How far can you get for free?

MyDrama’s mobile help page says most series offer five to ten free episodes. It describes daily check-ins, tasks and up to seven rewarded ads a day, worth 25 coins each. Seven ads would earn 175 coins: enough for one 99-coin unlock, with 76 coins left. Other rewards and an existing balance can help; we have not tested ad availability or reward delivery.

On October 30, an automated check of MyDrama’s English website started episodes 1 and 21 of Spark Me Tenderly without a login. Episode 22 asked for an email address. Episodes 2–20 were not checked, and no account or purchase was made.

The mobile guidance and this website sample cover different channels. Later website visits showed a different entry flow, so treat this as one session’s result. Two sampled episodes starting does not establish free, complete playback of every episode without a lock icon.

Should you subscribe?

Once you have a story to follow, choose the kind of access that fits how you will watch. MyDrama’s subscription explanation distinguishes these options:

OptionWhat it providesWhat to check
Full AccessViewing without spending coinsIncluded content, access period and renewal price
Refill SubscriptionCoins delivered daily; episodes still need unlockingCoins available today, later deliveries and renewal date
Coin purchaseCoins to spend on individual episodesPack quantity, cash price and the balance you will have left

A daily refill can fit occasional viewing, but coins due tomorrow will not help you finish tonight. For one series, compare the cash needed to cover the remaining unlocks with Full Access for the same show and period. If you plan to follow several series, an access plan may be easier to budget for, provided its coverage and duration fit. The first payment and renewal price both matter.

How much does MyDrama cost?

The US App Store listing showed these selected purchases on October 30, 2026. These are listing prices, not a quote for your account.

PurchaseListed US pricesCheck before buying
Full Access$19.99Billing period and the offer shown to your account
Refill Subscription$2.99, $9.99 or $19.99Coins per delivery and billing period
Coin packs$4.99, $9.99 or $24.99Coins included in each pack

The $19.99 Full Access entry is not a confirmed monthly price. A Refill Subscription at the same price provides a different benefit. Confirm the period, renewal amount and included access in your own payment screen; region and account offers may differ.

Work out the cost of finishing your show

MyDrama’s published unlock price is 99 coins per episode on both the app and website. The public Spark Me Tenderly list in our screenshot showed 96 episodes, with the first lock icon on episode 22. If episodes 22 through 96 each still require a coin unlock in your account, the estimate before subtracting your usable balance is:

(96 − 21) × 99 = 7,425 coins.

We did not verify all 75 remaining locks or obtain an account-specific purchase price. Confirm which episodes still need unlocking and subtract rewards and other coins already credited. If your usable balance covers them, no additional coins are needed.

Then compare the smallest pack purchase or combination that covers the shortfall with Full Access. A cheaper price per coin can still produce a larger bill if you buy more than you need. The public listing lacks pack quantities, so this check cannot establish the cheapest cash option.

A web purchase may not carry over to the app

MyDrama says its web and app subscriptions work independently. Access and balances may appear separately.

Choose your viewing channel before paying. If you bought on the website and the app asks for coins, return to the web account used for the purchase and check your receipt before buying again. Keep the purchase email and account details for support.

Canceling MyDrama

Use the service that took your payment. MyDrama’s app cancellation guide gives these routes:

  • On iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Select MyDrama and follow the cancellation steps.
  • For Google Play billing, open your profile, then Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Select MyDrama and cancel there.
  • For a website purchase, use the subscription controls in MyDrama account settings.

The subscription terms say cancellation stops renewal while access continues for the rest of the paid period. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Canceling renewal is separate from requesting a refund; refund conditions depend on the payment channel.

The following SceneTrace pages cover separate ReelShort series. Some viewing links on those pages may earn us a commission.

If you want another story built around paying for a mother’s care, ReelShort’s The Double Life of My Billionaire Husband has Natalie agreeing to marry Sebastian. For werewolf romance, Fated to My Forbidden Alpha follows Selene, whose supposed mate plans to reject her.

Neither is another place to watch the MyDrama title. If a plan or story detail has changed, send us a correction.
