If you came from an ad, start by finding the exact series on the platform. Similar titles and covers can lead to different shows. SceneTrace’s DramaBox catalog and ReelShort catalog link to the titles we have recorded.

The comparison below uses the two public U.S. App Store listings checked on October 9, 2026. It covers store information, rather than an installed-app playback or subscription test. The illustration above is artwork, not an app screenshot.

ReelShort explicitly lists iPad support. That is a useful difference if an iPad is your viewing device. Interface-language counts do not tell you which subtitles or audio tracks are available for a particular series; check that series before buying access.

What the purchase list tells you

DramaBox’s listing shows several items called Membership, including $5.99, $17.99, and $19.99, alongside Special offer items. ReelShort’s listing shows Subscription items at $19.99 and One-time Purchase items from $4.99 to $29.99. These labels alone do not establish an equivalent price for finishing a series.

Prices and plans vary by region. In the purchase screen for your own account, check the billing period, the episodes included, and whether access renews. A small coin pack may leave episodes locked. A subscription may renew before you plan to watch another series. Save those terms before confirming a purchase.

Choosing for a specific series

Before paying, confirm four things:

  1. Identity: the title, cast or character names, and opening scene match the series you intended to watch.
  2. Coverage: the platform has the season and episodes you want, in your region.
  3. Language: the actual episodes have the audio or subtitles you need.
  4. Total cost: the displayed offer covers your viewing plan, with a clear renewal period.

Public store pages cannot settle the last three for every account and title. SceneTrace has not tested completion costs or playback for this comparison, so it does not name an overall winner. For incorrect title links in our catalog, send a correction with the page and official source.
