The General Carries Bricks to Feed a Million Troops

133 episodes · General Xiao Zhenbei has held Shazhou for three years, his food and ammunition exhausted, when he unexpectedly finds a latrine that lets him travel back and forth to the modern world. To feed the city's people, the ancient commander takes modern jobs—carrying heavy loads and goods, appearing in fitness demonstrations, and working nights as a security guard—saving his wages coin by coin. He carries rice, medicine, motorcycles, and cotton clothing and quilts back to Shazhou, saving many sick children and displaced people. He also forges weapons from modern steel, learns to build greenhouses and grow vegetables, and spots a business opportunity in incense. He plans to use it to raise money for grain, oil, and construction, leading Shazhou's soldiers and civilians through hardship and against another invasion by the Louju army.
