The Emperor's Strong Consort - Episode 1

Shen Zhaoning is dark, sturdy, and doesn't meet the standard of a lady. Her family sees her as a burden. She enters the palace through the draft, standing out among delicate beauties. In the grand hall, a sneeze shakes the tiles, and Emperor Xiao Yan treats her as a guardian beast, making her Consort Duan and sending her to Yonghua Palace. While others vie for favor, she grows vegetables in the cold palace, reads military books, plays chess freely, doesn't bow to the Empress Dowager, and lives at ease. She calmly handles mockery and trouble from other concubines.
