Tempting Spring Branches

Chunzhi, homeless at nine, is taken in by Lu Jingyun to be raised as his child bride, and she believes she has finally found a home. After Lu Jingyun passes the imperial examination, however, he marries into a prestigious family and casts her aside without a backward glance. On the night she is abandoned, Chunzhi takes in a badly wounded man and makes him her husband. By day he is fastidious and hard to serve; by night he is tender and passionate. Each time trouble closes in, he quietly resolves it, and Chunzhi gradually falls for him—only to learn later that he is the hidden Chang'an Prince, Huo Zheng.
