Iron-Blooded Soldier of Xuanfu, Season 3

Modern special-forces soldier Qin Lie unexpectedly becomes an ordinary trooper in the Ming frontier army. He leads Xuanfu's battered remnants to retake a great general's cannon from the Oirat, detains the supervising censor Shi Biao for forging an imperial edict, opens granaries to distribute grain, and gathers displaced people through work-for-relief. He defeats the Oirat Iron Falcons against superior numbers, revives the Ming army's fighting spirit, and is enfeoffed as the Earl of Zhenshuo. Supervising censor Cheng Jing obstructs him at every turn, so he takes his troops to Juehu Ridge for hellish training and executes by military law the grain merchant Hu Wande, who privately sold army grain and colluded with the enemy. The Oirat bypass Zijing Pass, and the retired emperor tricks the city gates open; Qin Lie does not wait for an imperial edict, raids Baiyang Mouth to burn enemy grain, ambushes Bolad Temur in a snowslide at Wohu Gorge, then wages guerrilla warfare behind enemy lines to cut their supply routes, guarding the realm with iron-blooded resolve.
