The Lost Little Princess of the Dragon Clan
Elowen, eldest Winfield daughter, is framed for treason by her aunt Valera and imprisoned in a tower. She sends her newborn Mia by dragon to Prince Orion of Aetheron with a dragon-crested ring and red obsidian necklace. At five, Mia is turned away as an impostor at a royal banquet. She cleans at the Dragon-Taming Academy to fund visits to her mother, hiding Elowen's secret while Valera hunts the dragon-taming arts. The dragons confirm Mia's bloodline; Orion saves Elowen from execution as the Mondragon vengeance and an undead army threaten the empire.
