Mountains and Rivers, Old Friends Gone
I disguise my beauty to avoid an arranged marriage, but am moved by my fiancé Jian Shiye's apparent protection during a kidnapping. After marriage, I become pregnant and life seems sweet. Then, a prenatal check reveals the truth: the man beside me has been his brother Mu Hansheng all along, and he married me as a ruse for his true love Jian Yimei. I gather evidence and strike back at our third anniversary banquet, leaving him with nothing and disgraced. I then start a new life in Dali, healing alone.
