Underdog and Swan Neck

At eighteen, Chi Sui's family fortunes collapse and she is forced to move to the remote, closed-off town of Tongli. Refined down to her hairstyle and nails, she fits in nowhere there. Yet fate has other plans: the same winter, Shen Zhou, a deaf, self-conscious boy, also arrives. Two people who should never have crossed paths collide in the most awkward winter of their eighteenth year, beginning a story of salvation, first love and separation that spans many years.
