Useless Root? I Drained the Sect's Spirit Veins

Yu Xian, a youth from Big Elm Tree Village, has been orphaned since childhood. His mother turned into an elm tree to protect the villagers but her spirit pearl was stolen by an evil Taoist. Before leaving, she used her primordial spirit to build his bones and left him a cultivation method and a jade pendant. Yu Xian thus embarks on the path of cultivation. Though looked down upon for his inferior spiritual root and banished to the Hundred Ore Workshop, he relies on the jade pendant to find ores, his alchemy talent, and his tenacity to continuously break through predicaments, growing against the odds in the sect's dangers, determined to uncover the truth and seek justice for his mother.
