We Grow Wildly

Drama premise Film star Jiang Nan retreats into the desert to research a new role, hoping to escape a false romance and a career slump. There she crosses paths with engineer Lu Bei, who is secretly tracking a wanted criminal. To protect her, Lu Bei poses as local security and places her under "detention." Once the misunderstanding is cleared up, Jiang Nan is drawn into a life-and-death puzzle after seeing the criminal's face, and is forced into a "fake marriage" with Lu Bei to assist his mission. What begins as pretense turns into real feeling as the line between them blurs. Amid the wind and sand, two broken but romantic souls save each other through lies and danger, and light a prairie fire for one another at the end of the long night—wounded idealists who never bow their heads.
