In August Summer

Drama premise Eight years after they last met, oral and maxillofacial surgeon Jiang Nanshan sees He Beizheng at her clinic when he brings another woman in for a consultation. She assumes their lives crossed only briefly and have long since returned to their separate tracks—that this is where the story ends. Then, on a summer night in August, He Beizheng rings her doorbell. He asks whether she has thought of him over the years, whether she still cares, and urges her to say she does. Jiang Nanshan, almost without meaning to, answers that she has thought of him and that she does care.
